Hi,
as in this post https://www.onedesigns.com/support/topic/pinboard-static-header-and-menu i just want the menu bar to be always at the top of the screen and not the whole header.

Try Enlightenment theme. It has all the features of Pinboard + the option of a sticky navigation bar.
