Header area not expanding to accommodate header image

    I have a .jpg I want to use as the header of my minimatica-themed site. The .jpg is 940 x 187, so in my child theme’s functions.php I added code that would make the header area exactly those dimensions, as confirmed in this screenshot:

    But for some reason, the header area has not expanded to 940×187, leaving a large part of the header image hidden:

    Any suggestions on how to solve this?

    Still looking for an answer to this question, and to a simpler (I think) question: how do I link the header image in minimatica to another page (such as Home)? Thanks.
