Header image resizing to full width

    I have created a 48×196 pixel .png to have as a logo in my header. In the Theme options, I choose Header and get the image. When I upload it, the image gets stretched to the full 1140 pixel width of the header.

    I’m not sure what’s going on here- I don’t necessarily want a custom header, I just want to include a logo with the header text.

    Hi Peggy,

    Make sure you click on at the bottom of the page, after you upload your image. I always click on “Save Without Cropping” too.

    Hi Peggy,
    Sorry about that. I meant to say make sure that you click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page, after you upload your image. I always click on “Save Without Cropping” too. Then refresh your home page. That should do it.

    Thanks Chad – I guess I must have been cropping/sizing and that caused it to stretch. Worked perfectly!
