Hi,
I have followed step by step Clirving’s instructions, and it is NOT working for me. Upon making these changes to the php i loose all my images and the menu. I have tried this over and over again and it is simply not working. Is there anything else that needs to be done to ensure this code change works?

Thanks a lotHey there I’ve also tried simply adding the query_posts argument, and also had the same errors as the others. For anyone still interested in this solution, it does EXACTLY what you want, and no hassle with modifying the php. Simple get the plugin “WP Filter Post Category” and follow the directions. I used a specific catagory called “featured” and used that as the only pictures on my homepage, while the other pages they show up fine.
I’m sure there is a more complicated way and more thorough way to reorder images too, but I simply changed the dates of the posts. Works on the edit menu, a quick solution.
