How Can I Disable Comments On A Page?

I want to make a page for my “home page” and remove the option to “leave a comment”.
Is there a setting for this per page?

In Admin:
Pages
Mouse over page you wish to remove comments
Click ‘Quick Edit’
Uncheck ‘Allow Comments’ on the right
