I am the first to admit I am a total newbie to wordpress. I am making a basic website for my love of baking and I have managed to make many changes to the pinboard theme but I am unable to make my contact page a static page, it looks more like a page with a post on it that you have to click on to expand the page. I do not want this look but I do not know how to fix it. Any help would be great appreciated. My page in question is… http://truebluebaking.com//?s=contact

It seems its all about the menu.
When adding the contact page to your menu (-> theme/menu), try to add the page directly from the “pages box” to your menu.
