How to delete comment field in Esplanade?

    I’m a newbie to WordPress and Esplanade, I want to use it for a community website (see this site http://www.cowichanvictimservices.ca ). But I wonder if it is possible to delete the Reply/Comment field on each page in the Esplanade theme? If so remember that I’m a newbie and please explain it to me like I’m a 6 year old 🙂
