Hi there. Can anyone help me to figure out how I can keep blog posts from showing up on the slider? I have created a category name “blog” but the front page slider picks up every post. I do want image posts to show up but not news type posts.
Is there a code I can add to wherever the front page slider is and do some sort of exclude category ID?
If so, please tell me where to put it and what code to add or subtract 🙂
You will have to be very explanatory with me because I am not a developer but can follow instructions lol.

Upload a widget called WP Filter Post and activate it. The go to settings>WP Filter Post Settings and untick any categories that you don’t want in the front page slider. I now group my posts in different categories – those that I want to go on the front page, and those that I don’t (which I simply untick)

I can’t get this to work for me. brianhall3d.com I’m trying to just have 4 images in the slider to my main categories.
