how to get all my portfolio pieces to pop up when that category is clicked on

I’d like to get rid of the navigation buttons and just have my work pieces show up all together when each of their categories is selected. for instance if i select web category i want all of my web category pieces to show right away instead of having to scroll to get them to load up.
