I want to remove the featured image appearing on post. I tried removing through edit post –> remove featured image. But it also removed image from the gallery page. What should I do to hide featured image from appearing in posts (apart from deleting the featured image) ?

I’d like to do the same thing. I heard that this feature will be available in the next release (no idea when that will be yet.)

The problem is i cannot post the code here.
In my post above I have explained what to remove as best i can
– it should remove the featured image from the post but does not work with gallerys
