Hello,
I’ve created a dynamic sidebar called “my_footer” with 3 columns, and I’ve set three widgets in this sidebar.
Then, I’ve changed the the templates “Blog” and “Posts” in Appearance -> Theme Options -> Sidebars, using the dynamic sidebar “my_footer” into the section “Footer sidebar”.The Post pages (i.e. the blog post content) shows the footer without problems, but the homepage hasn’t footer.
How can I show the footer sidebar also into the home page?
If you’re using a static front page, you need to add the sidebar in a page’s sidebar location. This article explains how.
