I am currently working with PST ANSI and looking to upgrade it to improve performance and reliability. Can anyone suggest the best approach or steps to upgrade the PST ANSI? What are the common challenges faced during this upgrade, and how can they be resolved?

If you use Microsoft Outlook and your PST file is in the old ANSI format, you should upgrade it to the UNICODE format. UNICODE format is the newer and better technology that enables larger files and multilingual support. In this article, you will learn how to convert a PST file from ANSI to UNICODE.

Recently, I needed to upgrade my old Outlook PST files as they were in ANSI format and the new Outlook version did not support them. After a lot of research and trial, I used the Softaken PST Upgrade Tool, and my experience was quite good.

Some things that I liked about this tool:

User-friendly interface – It was very easy to use, even if I don’t have a technical background.
ANSI to UNICODE conversion – In just a few clicks, the entire PST file was converted without any data loss.
Rescue option – Creates a safe copy of the PST file in the new format without harming the original.
Save location option – You can choose where to save the file yourself.

I used the free trial version first, which helped me understand the whole process. After purchasing the full version, this tool was very helpful for me.

If you also want to migrate old Outlook data to the new version or are troubled by ANSI limitations, then I would recommend this tool.
