In the Dashboard ->Settings -> Reading if I set “Blog posts show at most” to 10, then 10 images show up on the first screen and they keep repeating as we scroll down. I would like all the posts – more than 1000 on my site – to appear but only 10 or 20 at a time.
If I set “Blog posts show at most” to 1000, the entire page tries to load at one go so the script doesn’t stop OR the images aren’t properly aligned when they appear on the page – leaving blocks of space.
The site is http://sankarsridhar.com/.
Any help appreciated, thanks
I had blocks of space and found the only way to reduce them [they still come but not as many – and that also depends on a browser] – to make them the same lenght size.
As with repeating – got something similar too [put up a post about this couple days ago], in my case I was getting this when posts were put to be “sticky”. If a post was sticky and not on a first page – Pinboard would load it twice. Have asked Daniel about this in my post as well but he hasn’t replied yet. In a meantime see if you have “sticky” ticked.
Cheers,
Mark
I don’t have any posts as “sticky” so that’s not the reason why they are repeating. IF I look at the demo page at http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/?page_id=28, as we scroll down, new images are presented. In my case, the site tries to present all the 100+ images in one go on the front page.
