I wanted to have in the theme Esplanade, the slide of the Pinboard theme?
I find that it is more modern, more current.
This is the only negative point of the Esplanade theme.Thank you
The long-term plan for both Esplanade and Pinboard theme is to have them rewritten to use Enlightenment Framework that we released last month. This means both themes will be similar in features and have their design updated. I can’t tell you at the moment when this update will happen though.

Thanks for your reply, I wondering not if an update to a theme would be in the next few days, I wanted to just make sure that the theme would be kept up to date, I intend to use the Esplanade theme for the site of an association of a town in France, I do it voluntarily, as such, I can’t change theme too often.
Thank youAre you aware of any urgent issues with WP 4.0 release? Backwards compatibility will be maintained for now so updating the theme at any time should not present any issues.
