Hello,
I have 3 questions about my site, http://classicallybeautiful.com/
1. How do I make the sticky images smaller? When they rotate, they are way too large.
2. All of the posts that I selected to be sticky appear on the slider. There is a dot indicating that a picture should be shown, but no picture appears.
3. None of the posts appear on the front page. I have my ‘Home’ page set as static, but none of my posts are appearing on the front page. Thanks!

Daniel TaraKeymaster1. If you do that it will break the layout.
2. You need to set the images as “Featured Images”.
3. Static means it displays a page with text. You need to set it to “Latest Posts” or assign the static page one of the Blog page templates.
classicallybmagParticipantThank you so much for your help!
For number 1, you said that if I changed the size of the sticky images, it would break the layout. What does that mean? I may have used the wrong terminology. I mean that I would like to change the size of the images on the slider. On the example of the Pinboard layout advertised for the theme, the picture of the cup of coffee is much smaller than the ones that are on my slider. It’s not possible to make the display area height smaller?
I made the image itself smaller and it still stretched it to fit the slider. Although, one of my pictures is smaller, so they’re all not stretched to be so big.
Also, I was wondering if it is possible to make the featured image smaller. I also uploaded a smaller image for the featured image, but it is still too large. Here is what it looks like:

Thanks for your help! I love this theme!

classicallybmagParticipantI have another question about my blog http://classicallybeautiful.com/
No matter what adjustments I make to the columns, the sidebar is not flush with the side of the blog. It is not as wide as the other columns and it looks like there should be another column to the right of the sidebar. It’s like that on all the pages of my blog: http://classicallybeautiful.com/category/bella-love/
Thanks again!
Daniel TaraKeymasterThe way the responsive layout of this theme works is by relying on images preserving proportions on resize. That’s why all images are forced to 100% width of their container and look enlarged when smaller. If you change this behavior proportions will no longer be preserved and the layout will break.
As for you second question, try using the Top Sidebar instead of the Right Sidebar. It will still display on the right but span the full width of the sidebar.
classicallybmagParticipantThank you, the top sidebar worked.
Are you saying that the featured image cannot be smaller? When I first activated the theme, the layout was more of a landscape with text to the left and a smaller picture to the left, similar to:http://laurenconrad.com/blog/cat/dine
But now the blog posts are more portrait with a much larger picture:

Daniel TaraKeymasterFeatured images can’t be smaller but posts can. You can display them in 2 or 3 columns and the images will adapt.
classicallybmagParticipantThank you, although I don’t see where to change the amount of columns in for the posts. I can see how to do it for the front page, but not the posts.
