Hi Daniel,

Thank you for Minimatica. Its been an invaluable theme to me.

Ive run into the final hurdle of putting together a blog for my father whos a writer. Utilizing the Reading Settings in WP Ive managed to make the front page static. Ive also managed to get the slideshow to pull from a specific post category so the pics always remain the same.

The problem Im having is that the awesome CSS you had going on for the blog totally flies out the window once I make the front page static. Please see here:

Now, Ive created a blog page and attributed a blog template that I created which contained basically the contents of home.php. I did remove the home.php so it wouldnt conflict.

I also tried a bunch of other variations in the blog.php. But no dice. Im pretty sure it has something to do with the loop.php as I see the word aside in their and Im thinkin you styled the blog with the aside post format…???

Anyway, Im so stuck and its been at least 10 hours Ive been at this.

    Please help.
