I have two static pages that both have galleries on them with different images in both. From time to time, I need to move an image from one gallery to another. The only thing I’ve discovered is that when i delete an image from the gallery, it deletes the image altogether from the website. I have to then go find a copy of the deleted image on my harddrive and then re-import it into the media section of WP. Is there a way to easily move images from one gallery to another? I know that in the media section, the Attached To column shows where the image is attached. Can that be changed somewhere there? It’s a bit frustrating.
No, there isn’t. That is a limitation imposed by WordPress with the media library. Try using the Unattach plugin.
