RachelHParticipant
I don’t know what happened. I didn’t change anything. My blog is at http://www.ourhavenhill.com
The header section was just fine, with my logo, the social media icons, and the search button all showing up in their proper places, and below that, the menu bar was all the rose color you can see at the far right side of the bar. When you hover, it still shows the beige color it’s supposed to be. But now it’s all blank on the menu bar, all messed up. Now the social media icons are scrunched in the left side of the header, in front of my logo. Alos, the site title is showing up, even though I told it not too. This was all fine earlier today!! What happened??AlexanderParticipantHi RachelH,
checked your site and the menu and social icons seems to work perfect. No site title visible. At least in Chrome.
Cheers,
Alexander @ http://www.mouseclick.comRachelHParticipantThanks for checking in Chrome Alexander. Good to know it works in that at least….but I’m using IE and like I said, it was fine for a couple days, then without me changing anything it all the sudden is broken and horrible looking. π
AlexanderParticipantIt also look good in IE 9.0.12. on a PC.
Try to clear your cache or maybe update your browser?
RachelHParticipantSo you’re saying it looks exactly the same to you in Chrome as it does in IE 9.0.12? I have IE 9.0.12 (my cache is cleared) and it is still broken on mine. This makes no sense. Especially since it looked just FINE until poof one minute it was all weird.
MindscannerParticipantWOW! RachelH what i beautyfull site you make from the theme!
I love a womens hand on such things π
But can you tell me what plugin you use for the section “You Might Also Like:” ?

1: Add this code in to your CSS stylesheet (vieuw > edit CSS)
.date-meta {

opacity: .9;
filter: alpha(opacity=100);
position: absolute;
padding: 5px;
top: 21px;
right: 20px;
color: #FFCC00;
}2: Open the ‘functions.php’ and go to line 1496
Change the line:in to cat_name; ?>
I hope i explain it right!
MindscannerParticipant2: Open the βfunctions.phpβ and go to line 1496

RachelHParticipantThank you Cafeproat π
I used the ‘related posts thumbnails’ plugin from wordpress – here is the url:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/related-posts-thumbnails/RachelHParticipantOk – it got stranger…my husband told me it looked completely fine on HIS computer – which uses Internet Explorer same as mine. So he realized maybe somehow “compatibility view” got clicked on my IE – and sure enough, that was it! Either I, or my toddler, accidentally clicked it once and that’s what was breaking my site! WHEW! Problem solved! Now I have a couple more questions…another post!
