Navbar collapses when logo is made larger

I assume a wider logo is forcing the navbar to act semi-responsively, but how do I fix it?

The navbar was not designed to have overflowing content. When content overflows the content adapts to fit its container. You idea of displaying the logo is nice but incompatible with the theme’s structure.
