Hi; to start off with I must confess that I am a “newbie” to the world of WordPress and I’m trying to get to grips with it all so forgive me if these are very basic questions:
1. I want to follow the Enlightenment Documentation: Deconstructing the Theme Demo Home Page tutorial. I’ve download the theme and added it to my Themes. BUT when I try to follow the “Walkthrough of the Home Page Creation Process” and preview the page I don’t get the Enlightenment Navbar I get a page with “A WordPress Site across the top”. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG
2. Secondly I’ve downloaded the Bootstrap Shortcodes plugin and Activated it but the Bootstrap button doesn’t appear next to the Add Media button on Add New Page
I hope you can help and apologies again for what I am sure are annoyingly basic questions!
1. “A WordPress Site across the top” is clearly content generated by the page. Are you using any page builder plugins? Does this happen even if you preview a newly created page? Also make sure you save the page as draft before previewing it the first time.
2. The plugin has some bugs in the previous versions. Make sure you have the latest version installed. You’re better off asking the author of this plugin about any issues with it.
