“next page” link at the bottom of my homepage does not take you anywhere nor do the numbered page links.
hi xtynguyen,
can you provide a URL to have a look at?
Cheers,
Alexander @ http://www.mouseclick.com
Hi the same is happening to me – http://www.worldofroper.com
It only happens if I set the Blog as “Front Page” under the reading section – otherwise it works fine. It must be the coding in “functions.php” but I am not advanced enough to work out what the issue is…
Hi andyjroper,
remove all plugins, revert all changes and try again as the content id seems to be messed up in the code.
Cheers,
Alexander @ http://www.mouseclick.com
Hi Alexander,
Thankyou for your swift response, I did as you suggested however this did not work. I decided to test it out on a separate WordPress site I have access to, I set up the Pinboard theme.
Under “settings”, “Reading” I set the main page to static.
Under “Pages” I set the main page to “Blog”
I made sure there were at least 2 posts to add to the blog.
Under “Settings”, “Reading” I set “Blog pages show at most” to 1
“Appearance”/”Theme Options”/”General”/”Posts Navigation” set to infinite scroll
When I view the page the first post is duplicated in an infinite loop.
Have you tested this yourself? If I set Reading Settings to Front page displays your latest posts, it works fine. It also works fine if the Main page is not set to Static.
Yours in need of some advice..
Many thanks
