Hi,
I´ve got a question: Is it possible to display own Socila Media Buttons (created by me) in the Header-Area?
If I put the widget with the html-code in the header, then only the first button appears.
I think this is because in the header-area, the widget will be shown vertical, and not horizontal. Do you have any CSS for that?The social buttons in the theme are fabulous, but I need a lot more, that´s because I want to take my own.
I´m so sorry for my bad english, but I hope you can help me!
Thanks so much!
Fanny
Daniel TaraKeymasterInstead of displaying them through a widget consider extending the theme’s set of icons. Open sidebar-header.php and see how they are generated.
sagegilesParticipantHi sage here…
I need to build some custom buttons which will be used to link back to particular pages on the website and it is crucial that they have the same look and feel as well as sit in horizontal alignment with the social media buttons that sit in the sidebar header right… I have noticed in the settings page you can add links for many different social media sites, all I need for the moment is a blank circle which can act as a hyperlink to pages on the site;
I have looked in the sidebar header.php, but I do not need to get links I just need to dictate what links they will be however the option to change the link in the settings could be useful what code will I need to create a generic page link button that can be defined in the settings. Thanks Sage
deirdreParticipantI used their existing images to create the Instagram and IMDb images I use on ryanjohnsonactor.info.
I should probably have shunted all of that into a child theme, but I didn’t (and it’s been running for two years, so why mess with it?).

If you change the 2x links from .png to .psd, the Photoshop files I used are there for the grabbing.
Hope this helps,
Deirdre
