I am trying to activate a certain plugin that requires PHP 5.3 >. Is there a way I can upgrade this myself? Or will you be planning to update the code to this version in the near future? I am not up to speed on PHP and have little idea about the differences in versions or how to edit/change these files.
Neither theme nor WordPress itself have anything to do with the version of PHP your server is running. You’ll have to contact your hosting provider and ask if they can upgrade to this version. Both Minimatica and WordPress are compatible with WP 5.3+
