In French, there’s a character encoding problem when using the Quote post-format. Maybe is it due to the pinboard_first_blockquote function?

eoikHi I am having the same problem with special characters when I create post type “Quote” on homepage. What is your experience and don´t you know how to fix this? Thanks Klimas
FOR AUTHOR: Seems like that the PROBLEM IS that when you add parameter to DOMDocument::saveHTML() function, you lose the encoding. (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8218230/php-domdocument-loadhtml-not-encoding-utf-8-correctly/8218649#8218649) and maybe temporary solution to edit functions.php like here (http://pl.forums.wordpress.org/topic/krzaczace-sie-ogonki-polskich-znakow-problem-inny-niz-wszystkie)
