Pinboard Header

I have just installed the Pinboard them to my WordPress. For the HEADER, I uploaded a test image to see what it would look like, and it came out just as I wanted. The header image filled the top from left to right. It originally recommended a size of 196 pixels X 48 pixels. I edited the header image, uploaded, then it only filled half the screen. The file is the same size and dimensions as the first one I upload. However, I noticed the recommended size is now saying 392 pixels X 96 pixels.

I read in another forum where they said the SEARCH widget could be effecting the width of the header, so i proceeded to remove ALL widgets, including the search bar. Now when I load my homepage, the SEARCH bar shows up. Before any of this, I could see no SEARCH bar.
