Hi
On our site — http://rebeccabluestone.com/bluewp/work/ — we are having an issue with the portfolio lighbox. The problem happens if the thumbnails have not completed loading and a user clicks to see an enlargement. The counter in the lightbox shows only the amount of images loaded up to that point but drops everything below. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks
Daniel TaraKeymasterThe script needs all images to load to create a relation between them. That’s a browser limitation and there’s no way around it. All you can do is load fewer posts per page.
baddogParticipantWould it be possible to add some script that forces the browser to load all images first, before opening the lightbox?
Daniel TaraKeymasterActually there is and it’s included with the theme. It’s called imagesloaded.
baddogParticipantHi Daniel. Thanks for the imagesloaded link. I am not sure how to use it though — I would need instructions for dummies to set this up 😉
Another, hopefully easier option would be to keep the loading as is and add the following phrase above the thumbnails: Please be patient. Scroll to the bottom of the page and allow for all images to load before viewing enlargements.
I accomplished adding this phrase above the main portfolio but I can’t figure out how to add it to the category pages. Could you please help with this?

Thank you
Daniel TaraKeymasterThere is no easy way to do this. Ever if you were to delay the execution of the script, if someone is fast enough to click a thumbnail it will open the image in a separate page.
Your website loads fast enough for me. The situation where someone scrolls down and clicks an image thumbnail before all images are loaded is an edge case. I wouldn’t bother that much about it.
baddogParticipantThank you, Daniel. Is there any way to add the phrase below to the portfolio category pages? I successfully loaded it to the main portfolio page but I can’t get it to show up once you use the filter.
“Please be patient. Scroll to the bottom of the page and allow for all images to load before viewing enlargements.”
Thanks a lot
Daniel TaraKeymasterYou can add it as category description and it will display below the category title.
