hi, I want to make portfolio, several times tried in accordance with this instructions: http://www.mouseclick.com/tutorials-2/setup-a-basic-portfolio/, but still have problems, the effect is not the same as I’d like it to be. The point is that: I want the first part of porfolio with thumbnail (it means first post/site of portfolio) led to my blog entries. Is it possible? Adding a subcategory to a portfolio and then to individual entries doesn’t help, otherwise subcategories are shown on the main page, which does not look good. I can only put my posts of the blog to the main menu above. Another question is it possible crear portfolio element as a static site? I am desperate, because nowhere I can find answers to my questions. Thanks for any tips!

That means that I can´t create portfolio with ¨static posts¨ which lead to post or images or another section? I have seen this page with Pinboard http://www.reiss.cc/, I sent the question about how to do it but unfortunately I don´t have answer. Anybody have any idea?
