Pinboard + Yoast SEO – Missing required hCard "author" error

    Hi there,

    I’ve used Pinboard on my hobby website poultrykeeper.com and I’m really pleased with it 🙂

    I’ve been seeing some errors in Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools) that say the “Author” and “Updated” hcard meta is not showing for the pages on my site.

    I use Yoast SEO which should support this but I found this article about this error: http://kb.yoast.com/article/184-fixing-hcard-author-error

    It suggests changing the Theme to fix this problem.

    Would this be something that could be incorporated into the Theme on the next update? I have a Child Theme set up but I’m not sure if it could be added in this way.

    I’m still struggling to work out a suitable fix for this 🙁

    Does anyone know what would need changing and whether it could be done with the Child Theme?
