Please help me figure this out

    I love this theme, but it is new to me so I still have a few things to learn.

    When you click a category from drop down menu at the top, why is it a huge picture that you have to click to get to the post?

    you can click on the picture or on the title of the post to get the post.

    If you want menu items to link directly to posts, you can use custom links in the menu editor and paste directly the post permalink in the URL field.
