Hi, I’m new at this so I must be missing something somewhere. I’ve created a portfolio page and uploaded a bunch of images to display and everything was working. I’ve recently added more images and I noticed that my portfolio page is not displaying my older posts. It says “There are no more posts to display”. It’s only displaying 20 – I know SOMEWHERE I must be able to change this number, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where (or find the answer via google!).
Thanks for any assistance!
If you are using the portfolio as a custom front page there is a bug preventing the navigation from working. You need to set it as a secondary page to make the navigation work.
It is a secondary page – http://www.coveteria.com/portfolio-2. I have also set up a flickr page using slickr flickr where I know I was able to set the number of images to display and was wondering if there was something like that for the portfolio? When I go into my posts and select the portfolio category I have 25 posts and I know last week the older ones were there. I just tested by reposting an older image and sure enough the oldest post disappeared so somewhere the display limit is set to 20 I just have no idea of where
It appears to be caused by the “-2” in the url slug. Try setting it to simply “portfolio” and see if the issue disappears.
Thank you! Problem solved! I guess I had created a portfolio page and put it in the trash and never deleted it hence my “new” portfolio was -2. After emptying trash I was able to edit page permalink.
