Hi all,
does anyone know how to crate the Category based sub menu below the main menu, as shown in the demo page here (http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/?page_id=6)
Thanks,

your tutorial explains very well how to set up the portfolio page.I was however looking for the sub-menu within the page (http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/?page_id=6), BELOW the menu bar. It shows all the categories of the images which are part of the portfolio.
Is this done with the theme or a WP plugin?

Alexander @ http://www.mouseclick.comphotonopticumParticipantanother brilliant tutorial π – however, not what I meant. But, sometimes it is good to walk away from the computer and go for a walk…. To get what I wanted, I have to
1) create a main category for all portfolio posts (POSTS/CATEGORIES, add new category (e.g. Portfolio) with no parent category)
2) mark images/posts that I want to show in the portfolio with category “Portfolio” (POST/ALL POSTS/EDIT POST).
3) create categories for the posts/images shown in the portfolio (POSTS/CATEGORIES, add new category with parent category (!!!!), e.g. PortfolioPublish, done, smiling. The secondary menu shows up as shown here in the demo http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/?page_id=26

AlexanderParticipantThe missunderstanding was the term “Portfolio Sub Menu” you used. π
A sub menu in a portfolio like in the demo you’re referring to is only done by templates not by categories.(e.g. “Portfolio, Four Columns”) But what you meant are categories on a portfolio page (e.g. “Abstract” or “Animals”).
Good you’re sorted !!
