It’s a silly question but can someone tell me what is the different between portfolio and blog?
Another question, Blog Page -> Full posts to display not working.
when we go to Theme Options -> General, Under “Blog Page” there is field named “Full posts to display”, even when I fill that field with “2” my Blog page still don’t have any full post there because my Home Page -> Full post to display filled with “0”. It seems like my blog page full post display always follow my Home Page full post display settings. Please help me. Thanks.
Technically they are 2 separate archives that display under separate links.
There is no special setting for blog page, only secondary pages. So if you select 0 for home page and 2 for secondary pages, you will see 2 leading posts only on secondary pages.
So, how to create:
– portfolio like http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/?page_id=26 without full post to display.
but the same time I want
– my homepage have 2 full post to display like http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/I’ve tried setting
– Appearance -> theme option -> Homepage Full posts to display = 2
– Appearance -> theme option -> Portfolio Full posts to display on first page = 0
– Appearance -> theme option -> Portfolio Full posts to display on second page = 0
BUT this setting brings me
– portfolio with 2 full post before grid
– homepage with 2 full post before gridWhat do I miss?
