Problem to create a Portfolio with sub gallery

Hello and congratulations for the great theme! Sorry for my English 🙂

I’m new in creating websites with wordpress and can not figure out how to make a portfolio structured in this way:

I’d like to have a page “Portfolio” in the main menu bar (which I’ve already done), on the same page I would like to put some photos by type of pictures (landscapes, portraits, etc. … for example). I would like clicking on all of those photos I can open another page with a gallery containing pictures of that type (landscapes, portraits etc …), how can I do?
Because I’ve tried several ways but I can not, creating pages with layouts Portfolio then I can not see anything.
