Problems with Custom CSS

Hello,

I went through your Custom CSS tutorial for this theme and noticed that I can’t get some of the stuff to work properly. For example, in my Safari CSS Plugin, The following code shows me the change where I want it:

#access a:hover, #access li.current_page_item > a, #access li.current-menu-item > a {
background: #FF0000;
}

But when I add it to the Custom CSS window in the theme options, it doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas?
