That is the “Wide” widget area. You can populate it under Appearance > Widgets. In the demo I have added a text widget with the title “Just another beautiful wordpress theme” and empty body text.
I tried the above, but the text goes underneath the slider.
How can I fix this? I tried to add text. This shows up underneath the slider.
