I would like to have the slider on the home page of my site, but have the content under the slider, be static. Blog posts would only show under their category links. But slider would feature most recent posts. Is this possible?
Thank you Daniel. I tried that: Under Settings>Reading. I made the Front static and selected an unnamed, blank page to be the front page. Now I have a blank “home” page. No posts (great), but no slider either. Can the slider be on a page without the posts listed underneath?
If not, is there a plugin or different theme that would allow for a slider (any slide show that goes full width of page), without having the active posts on the same page as the slider? Thanks for responding!
