Hello!
On the demo picture for the Pinboard theme, I can see where there is a portfolio page set up. How do I go about setting up a portfolio page on my website? I’m assuming I have missed something obvious somewhere, but I’m not really sure what to do. I have set up several other pages, but I don’t know how to get the portfolio page with the portfolio page specific formatting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Daniel TaraKeymasterYou can set up posts from a specific category to show as portfolio under Appearance > Theme Options > General. You can also opt to display or not display portfolio items in the main blog.
Then that category will display in blog format. If you want a different layout for the portfolio you can select one of the portfolio page templates.
justteresaParticipant1: How can I add the submenu in the portfolio page you have demo? the abstract / animal / instants / landscape…. button sub menu?
2: How can I set up a post only to show up on one gallery? For example I have 3 gallery, I want to use A post to gallery 1, B post to gallery2?
Please help me!
mmscanlonParticipantI am having trouble with portfolios as well. Do you have to set the portfolio up as a Post, or can it be a Page that I add to over time? As of now, I have created a page called “Portfolio” and two subpages under that page. I’ve added a few images to the subpages but when I look at my site it says “Content Not Found” on all three pages. What am I doing wrong?
JaringParticipantThe sub-menu automatically inserts, when you have 1. designated a page to have the portfolio template, in the Pages section. And 2: choosing a catagory to act as the portfolio category (in the theme options > general settings). The subcategories of the assigned portfolio-category will show up as buttons on the top of your portfolio.
