Show entry-meta on Portfolio template

I’m trying to make my portfolio template look just like the standard blog frontpage of the Pinboard theme. However, I can’t seem to figure out where in the code I need to change things.

Basically I want a page based on the Portfolio template to look exactly like the frontpage (index/content) design. When I choose a specific category for the portfolio template, the design changes so that there is no entry-meta, just the name of the category.

How can I change this?
