Slider Homepage – Conventional Blog Page

Hi,

I have a website (www.nvbc.info/men) which uses the minimatica theme (which everyone loves – Thanks for your efforts Daniel). I want to keep the hompage looking as-is, with the four bar slider, but I would like to have the NEWS page as a conventional posts page that updates when I add posts, and links to them as per a conventional wordpress blog. I don’t want these new posts to show up in the slider.

I have tried changing the POSTS main page to the news page, however it just shows the slider as per the homepage.

Is it possible to achieve what I want?
