Slider Images are different sizes

This is causing the content below to bob up and down, making it very distracting when browsing. Is there any way of consistently sizing the image properly in the slider without changing the featured image itself?

Make sure the images used for the slider are at least 1140 x 400 pixels in size and use the plugin AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild to regenerate the slider thumbnails.

I just rebuilt all of the thumbnails using AJAX, but the images do not seem to have changed.

That’s because not all of them are at least 1140 pixels wide or 400 pixels high.
