Slider only showing one sticky post (latest)

Hi,

I followed the guides to create a slider:
* Enabled “Display a slider of sticky posts on the front page” under Settings–>General
* Created 3 posts
* Assigned a Featured Image to each post
* Ticked “Stick this post to the front page” in each of the 3 posts

But no matter what I do I only get 1 image in the slider (i.e. no slider, just a single image).
If I delete the 3rd post (or untick “sticky”) then the image of the 2nd post is showing, but again only a single image, no slider.

Can anyone please help?
