static front page

    hi! i´m wondered if it is possible to set a static front page with the view of a category (gallery view)? i know, i can show my recent posts but that´s not what i want – i just want to show 3 static posts in a gallery on the front page. (always the same, not the recent) – is that possible? and when yes, how can i do that? because a page at the first sight is not that nice as a gallery would be 🙂
    would be great if someone can help me!

    That’s a feature planned for the next version which has an uncertain release date.
