Static Front Page / Blog function

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your help before with the sidebar – we have them working now. I’ve checked the rest of the forum and can’t see an answer to our next question…

We have followed the instructions here : http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page to try and create a static front page and another page that operates as our blog, but we can’t seem to get it to work with Esplanade – can you give any hints?

The static front page is fine, but the blog function doesn’t work – whenever we draft a post it gets published as a separate post of its own (i.e. it publishes as spanneredbooks.com/samplepost, rather than publishing as a post at spanneredbooks.com/blog)

Any ideas? Please help if you can!
