I am using the pinboard theme version 1.1.0.
Suddenly the footer area is not displayed correctly anymore, as the third text area widget is displayed below the second one, instead of being displayed next to it (I have placed three text widgets in my footer area).
This issue occured almost out of the blue. All I did was inserting some additonal code into the custom CSS area. After I noticed the footer issue (thinking it may have been caused by the custom CSS), I removed the code again, however the issue still remained.
I’m thankfull for every response.
I have fixed the issue but might have encountered a bug with the custom CSS feature in the process.
In my custom CSS area, there were a few lines of code that I had entered a while ago which changed the .threecol width from 33.3% to 33.38%. After changing it back to 33.3% the footer is displayed correctly again.
The strange thing about this: This code was in my custom CSS area for several weeks (appearantly without having an effect), just now that I entered additonal custom CSS code and saved it, it came into effect (and messed up the footer).
