Testimonial post type

Dear Daniel,

I’ve recently noticed that Jetpack added a so called Testimonial post type alongside Projects (and some others) that is available to get enabled in the admin menu. Since I was looking for something like this, I’ve tried it out and it looks promising but it seems to me that there are some details that may probably be addressed in an upcoming update.

It looks similar to Projects but Template Hooks don’t seem to work apart from the Header. I tried to get rid of the post title and the meta lines to show only the post content (the testimonial itself) but they remain even after I remove them in the admin menu.

Also, in case I choose a tiled layout for the Grid loop, it shows only a raw content of the posts without the blockquote formatting that I apply for each quote in the post content (as testimonials were used to be shown by the quote post format in the blog). I guess there may be a solution not to get forced to use the general blog layout for the grid loop in order to show the quotes nicely.

I’m not sure if it is possible to enable tags and/or categories for Testimonials like the way they are available in Projects but by default is is not visible in the admin menu. In case it can be controlled by the theme, probably this would be useful too.

I guess your roadmap is quite filled with enquiries about this theme but it would be nice if you could take a look into this. Many thanks for this great theme, it is a great fun to build with it. 🙂
