whether you can limit the amount of displaying the latest posts in the slider to eg. the category, and only 8 recent
now are displayed with all the latest posts at 4 per page, but as it limited to eg. 2 pages?There is currently no way to set the number of posts inside the slider. When the theme was created this number was fixed to 4 and since the theme was not responsive this was not a big issue at the time. Changing this behavior is not possible without breaking backwards compatibility so it will be a new feature of the 2.0 release.
