Theme Update Problem!

Hi,

Thank you for your super Pinboard theme. I set up a village website last week and yours was the only one I liked – and could handle! I love the clean lines and ease of setting up my header.

Today I noticed there was a theme update. I clicked the update button and got a message saying it couldn’t be updated. I then swapped my theme to a different one and tried the update again. That didn’t work. I tried to delete the Pinboard theme thinking I could then re install it. It wouldn’t delete! I suspect I may have had a conflict with a Plug In I tried the other day because after I’d removed it as it wasn’t what i wanted I noticed my Theme Editor had gone, to be replaced with several lines of error messages.

Please can you advise me what I can do? I would rather sort this out now than when I have added a lot more content to the website and find I have a problem in the future.

I am a complete beginner and wouldn’t have any idea how to access files on the server or anything scary like that!
