Turn off Parallax

Hi There,

I am looking for a way to turn off parallax in the image header of the pages. Its fairly choppy and doesn’t look great, so I would rather just have flat images appear.

The setup I have is a widget in a sidebar called full screen header, which is then attributed to the full screen header of the homepage. The custom query widget in the sidebar uses 5 pages to create a slider, and essentially I want to be able to turn off the parallax in that slider.

I tried to do this with css modifications, but was unsuccessful. Any help is appreciated. I am fairly savvy, so I can edit css/html/php if need be, but parallax is something I have never worked with before.
