Has anyone done the upgrade to WordPress 3.5 and if so did you have any difficulties? The new upgrade has lots of changes to image handling and it supposedly changes the way galleries work. As Pinboard is so image-dependant and uses galleries, I thought I’d check here and see if anyone has any experience on the subject, good or bad.
Should I hold off til they work out any kinks or is it “good to go” for us Pinboard users?

I’ve had a few issues and had to uninstall a couple of my other plugins which now don’t seem to work with the theme smoothly. Jetpack is problematic and causes my featured article image to be cropped (for what reason, I’m not sure), as well as setting off some backend errors and causing an error in the custom CSS module. Also, because Pinboard doesn’t play well with Custom Sidebars plugin, I installed Widget Logic visual – less easy to use, but to the same effect. Unfortunately the WL Visual doesn’t work well with WP 3.5, so I’m down to Widget Logic the original as a way to display my sidebars correctly. I’m hoping someone, either pinboard or wordpress, fixes some of these issues soon.
Ooh. I’m a heavy Jetpack user. I don’t want to lose that. I think I’ll have to wait for a while. Thanks for the feedback.
I’ve upgraded to WP 3.5 on my blog with no noticeable errors. I don’t a lot of customization of the Pinboard theme, but everything seems to be working for me. No Jetpack issues for me. You can check out my blog here: http://www.morethanbirds.org

I don’t like “banana-software” which ripens at home. My blog is running VERY well with 3.4 and I will wait after the first couple of updates.
