    Hi,

due to a certain plugin I had to change “define (‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’)” to “define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf-8’)” in the wp-config.php.

Since then the Pinboard template doesn’t work properly.
PHP functions in the header.php and footer.php are ignored.

    How to solve this problem?

As I discovered, there are a lot of inline css and js commands in the as well. Is there an easy way to remove / clean up the code?

    Thank you and best regards

Haha… David, you forget to implement the “clean the code up easy” button πŸ˜‰

Don’t get me wrong – I know that there is no “easy” way to do it and am not on a noobish search for a “clean up button” to do the work but I’m sure the amount of inline css and js can be reduced or at least be but in external files which then can be compressed and combined.

Basically my question was about the charset problem which only appeaers when using this template.
